ReStart is a Choice. Make the right one.
You do not have to see the entire staircase to get to the next level, but you do have to take each step to go up.
We provide transitional services to reunite families, re-ignite hope, reduce recidivism and promote ACCESS to; employment, education, homes, and sustainability.
There are 15,000 women incarcerated in Florida.
When women are released they are looking for ways to transition into communities to create stability and alternative lifestyles. Often times they are not connected with children and family immediately. ReStarting life outside may require adapting to a new mindset, habits, technology, locations, and skills.
ReStart Ministries has developed programs to meet women where they are. We provide life-changing employability and life skills, financial literacy, and mindset training.

I didn’t know what I was going to do after spending the last 10 years in prison. I was lost until one friend told me about Restart Ministries. Christine and her team gave me a second chance and helped me get my life together. I am now employedand in my own apartment. God is good.

Christine McPhee Founded Restart Ministries Organization to help ex-offenders ‘restart’. The desire is to lend support, provide a safe haven, link to resources and programs that assist women in making lifestyle changes that allow them to thrive. The programs and workshops created to teach life and employability skills are only a part of the effective framework designed to instill resilience and initiative. Shared Living Arrangement, SLA housing facility is a shared living space made special for individuals re-entering society as ex-felons. It is a judge-free, supportive environment, selected women can call home as they transition into independence.
